I enjoyed this wine with BBQ Salmon. It is classic Pinot Noir. It is quite light and full of wonderful aromas. It is a great tasting with wonderful cherry, pepper and a hint of green apple. A really nice wine.

Light red colour. Dark cherry cola nose. Soft cherry & celery salt/rhubarb lingering crisp finish. Deft use of oak. Nary a harsh or bitter corner to this effort. Easy drinking but thought provoking. Definitely not for the Zinfandel crowd. Acceptable QPR

(Quail's Gate Pinot Noir) #2; COLOR-light; NOSE-gorgeous heavy bacon; hint of raspberry on the back-end; clove & orange zest; TASTE-this wine is extremely focused; classic Burgundian flavors; lively & fresh; I like it; solid; a cola component on the back-end; reminds me of adding bacon to cherry cola; it's chewy; good structure & length; a very easy drinking Pinot; GV-90

Typical nose of cherry cola and rhubarb. Paired well with grilled salmon, this was a nice pinot.

Lively aromas and taste. Not complex but very pleasant.
