No notes taken. This was a stunning example of what Alsace can do with Riesling. Classic petrol and burnt caramel on the nose. A dry, mineral palate with grapefruit acidity and bitterness and orange rind flavors. In fine form and with years ahead: the wine hardly changed from the beginning to the end of the meal!
Magnum dinner- this wine was delicious. Slight petrol on the nose with stone fruit, lime, honey, mineral, and an interesting smokiness. On the palate, the wine was more linear and focused than we expected given our prior experience with Weinbach wines. Searing acidity nicely balanced the RS. Mouthwatering minerality
