Tasted past its peak, this was a golden coloured, low acid and rich with E that is at once both opulent and also drying and slightly short on the finish. Certainly very complicated, with bottle age a significant contributer.

A rich, almost SB-like bouquet. Full bodied and a lot of bitterness which gives the impression this wine is oaked. Dry. For me the bouquet was the best part. Flawed bottle???

Hint of gold. Nose shows the typical Schlossberg nose of minerally lemon with a bit of cream. Not partifularly showy nose, but true to the terrior, and showing some developments. Medium weight palate, has softened some, but still has nice acidity and balance. Palate has the firm minerality of the site, with the lemon cream I normally associate with Weinbach reislings. No hurry to drink up, but is ready. Finish is of medium length. Correct, but vaguely dissappointing.

NO. Sadly, clearly once great bu now gone, oxidised in a very unpleasant way.
