Tasted blind. There is a lot going on here. Super young. This will evolve beautifully.

Tannins are medium+. Grippy but starting to round.
Acid is medium and well integrated and balanced
Licorice, Dark fruit, bramble, cherry, leather, oak, earth.
Good concentration. This is drinking nicely. 92-93.

EEE January 2024 St. Estephe vs St. Julien (@ My place): In the bouquet dark berries, oak, licorice and leather. On the palate juicy dark berries, firm acidity and tannin, which is nicely round. There is some ok bitterness and a good length. Beautiful wine which needs more cellaring. Try around 2030. 91 – 93+ for today.

A happy little tannin bomb. Rustic. Like a helping of blackberry jam on sourdough bread. Like English nobility in the countryside.
