En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Served at Montrose Red berries, rhubarb, slightly dusty glasses, red plum, a little sour cherry and slight wet earthy underpin. In the mouth it’s juicy with medium plus intensity acidity, fleshy, very red fruit with a fruit tea underpin, tannins show a certain woodiness – a bit like licking a stick. Finishes savoury and a little bitter, pleasant in an early drinking way. A reflection of the vintage?
