This is delicious. Good structure, color and taste! Cherry, tobacco and leather. It's subtle but fresh and alive. Almost could mistake it for 2016 as it has that same silkiness to it. Great QPR. Just got a case of the Gran Vin too!

restaurant bottle - did decant but needed more time than we had, still a young wine but great now. floral, ripe blackberry fruit and cassis, great acidity and nice strong tannin. First Pauillac...would like to drink at home again.

I suspect this is slightly corked so I won’t give it a rating and my comments should be read subject to that, but with air the damp character did clear off and this showed a slightly lean, slightly green presentation of blackberry fruit and moderate complexity.

With a floral edge to the red berries, the wine is medium-bodied, edgy, juicy and bright with a focus on all the sweet, crisp, ripe cassis. Enjoy this while waiting for its big brother to develop. 87-89 Pts
