  Paid next to nothing for this at an online auction. Should command at least third tier Bdx price.
  
  Unexpectedly light red robe with almost nothing to suggest more than a five year old wine…
  
  Nose is more than a bit premoxed, however also holds some beautiful notes of scorched Bdx earth.
  
  In the mouth, the premox isn’t … there.
  On the palate, this sings with beautiful red berries and a nice tannic claw. Roarrr!
  Insted, this is a very sensitive (!) concoction.
  It has everything in place: acidity, stone cold pure red fruit, small pure tannic claws and a tar component overshadowing any sensitive flowers.
  Superlatively balanced with an amazing mouthfeel. The acids carry this wine well. A little longer finish and we would talk 97-ish.
  
  Plus 1 point for being so darn unexpectedly alive.
  
  Blnded, I would probably have ended up in Rome and Merlot…
  
  Nevertheless, this wine still hqs a few decdes and I'd be happily obliged to participate in any and every wine tasting globally, that sports this tremendous wine.
