Medium to dark ruby core, medium ruby rim. Raspberry and strawberry, lots of red fruits. Medium body, high acidity, smooth and silky tannin, medium to long finish. High intensity and nicely concentrated. Early drinking right now, will definitely evolve in 10+ years. My favorite GC 1er cru right now. Would like to try CSJ when I got a chance!

Opened one to evaluate. Medium red, good acidity, excellent extraction of dark fruit flavours, sweet notes of chocolate, black cherries, slight licourice and a hint of spice. Subtle tannin notes start to come out as you continue to drink the bottle. Excellent! Opened to early .This will I believe become magnificent with age.

A very approachable early drinking wine. This has big extraction of fruit flavours which creates a feeling of density or weight on the palate. The tannins are present but balanced. Acidity is modest. Slight cherry nose and cherry is the main dark fruit flavour. Good length. This the fourth 2018 wine from Bruno Clair that I have opened and they all show a similar profile. The only difference to me is that the GC wines show more of a tannic spine and slightly more acidity. Very enjoyable.

Barrel Tasting at Bruno Clair (Marsannay): Intensely Gevrey with rich black cherry, smoked meat, game and spice. Palate follows suit with rich, meaty black cherry. Seamless, delineated and lively throughout. Excellent. 92-93+
