Lots of flavor and smooth. Complemented a bone-in rack of pork done on a big green egg. Flavorful - big but not overpowering. Oddly had a good bit of sediment in each glass, though was careful in treatment of the bottle which had been cellared for several months.

Nice whitish high quality cork. That's about the only thing that really impressed me about this wine. The wine is good quality, deep luscious red fruits surrounded by fine oak aromas but that's about it I could hardly detect any other complexity. On 3rd day, surprisingly was still the same on the nose but just softer and more enjoyable on the palate. I don't get the high scores and certainly this could be too young now but at SGD$200 a bottle I do expect more even at this stage. Don't get me wrong the fruits are definitely quality barossa but this is feels more like going to a Jamie Oliver restaurant and expecting great Italian food. Nothing offensive but nothing worth noting either.
I'm drinking a bottle of Standish Andelmonde Shiraz 2018 after this so would be interesting to compare later.
High octane Shiraz driving a velvet Ferrari. This baby is beautiful. Got 3 bottles from LastBottle, but panicked when the ice pack arrived at about 100 degrees F. Opened a bottle to ensure no heat damage—mission accomplished.
The nose boasts a regal musk of blackberry, dark chocolate, cedar, and olive tapenade. The palate offers voluptuous plum, black cherry, French oak vanilla, and a hint of baking spice on the back end. This is akin to drinking Rote Grütze. If you know, you know.

Not overwhelmed by this. Didn’t take detailed notes, but I suspect this needs more time to really shine or a really long decant. This was not a screw cap, but regular cork.

Deep ruby.
Pronounced on the nose with blackberry, blackcurrant, licorice, mint, medicinal notes, cardamom, cedar, vanilla, cloves, prune. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Full body, high alcohol, high acidity, high tannins, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging. Worth waiting. The oak needs some time to integrate.
