  Amazing aromas of savory herb - tarragon comes through - which sounds crazy but gives this wine so many layers and complexity. Wet stone minerality, pear, and maybe even a slight floral note. Just beautiful.

  Not enough time to properly decant. Too much oak and vanilla during the first half an hour. By the end it was getting better and balance.

  Monte Bello Visit: Pale gold. On the nose - fresh, a hint of candied lemon perhaps - some discussion as to where in the world you would place this and could you mistake it for a burgundy? On the palate - different story altogether. Much richer - some pineapple, some sweetness.
