Sits beautifully in the glass, with a translucent ruby appearance. Nose and palate just sing. Tangy red fruit, light and ethereal, but anchored by wild cherry and iron notes. Reminds me of a Pelaverga, but bigger, or a high quality village Bourgogne. This wine will continue to positively develop, and I’d expect it to score another point over time. Great QPR but really stands apart regardless.

Interesting to taste this ~6 months later and be so much more positive on it. Aromatically this feel much more wide open. It pours extremely light garnet in the glass, onion skin rim, and faint bricking. The nose is very aromatic and complex showing red currant, sour cherry, mushroomy cellar funk, rose petals, grapefruit rind, old wood spice, and touches of cinnamon and herbal bitters. The palate is super light and elegant entering on citrus tinged red fruit, turning to medium minus dusty tannin and medium plus acid. While there is some mid-palate bitterness, the finish closes harmoniously on grapefruit, red fruit, rose petals and cinnamon. All in all this is lovely stuff that's ridiculously in my wheelhouse and just flat out delicious. Such a classic and for my palate the best since the 2012. This might even be better.

Nice Jura rouge. A trace of reduction on the pop, red fruit, a saline finish with a bit of earth. Gaining more heft and weight over the first few hours esp for a Jura red. Put back in the fridge and held until evening when it was allowed to warm again. Tailing a bit already. I wouldn’t hold too long, but a nice and perhaps a little deeper Jura red with current wine making. Very good qpr

Super enjoyable burgundy style red on the light bodied and earthy / saline side. One more in the cellar, interesting to see how it develops.

Very light yet sharp. Cherry notes on the nose with hints of white pepper flavors
