Plenty of funky earth and horse blanket, with crunchy red fruit (cranberry, pomegranate, fresh raspberries & dark cherries). Nice medium palate with med+ acid & tannins. Drank from a Coravin'd bottle over a few weeks, great with all kinds of protein-heavy food

This pours light ruby in the glass with flecks of pink toward the watery rim. The nose is classic bourdy of crabberry, used leather, wet hay, animal fur, light cherry, chicken broth, and thyme. The palate is particularly structured compared to other vintages I've had, showing medium plus tannin and medium minus acid. The finish fizzles out, dominated by the structure. All in all this is nicely lightly extracted and features some of the classic hallmarks of the aromatic profile I appreciate from Jean Bourdy, but it feels clipped, disjointed and dominated by structure. Perhaps it will be long lived, but at this young stage I can't say I'm really enjoying this very much.

Medium red color. Drank a glass from the wine lunch pairings over 30 minutes. Notes of raspberry and cranberry on the nose with sense of tartness and a little funk. The palate is light-medium bodied with crunchy raspberries and sour cranberry and red currant notes, spicy with some coarse tannins on the finish. Good, maybe a bit young.

Trousseau, Poulsard and Pinot blend. Crunchy red fruit with a bit of funk. Refreshing and lasting finish. Certified organic and 12.5% abv. Great value
