  App: Ruby with garnet ring Nose: Med+ intensity, roses, forest, red cherry, clove, cinnamon, hawthorn, mint, milk chocolate, a little bit savoury notes, developing. Palate: Dry, high acidity, high alcohol, high tannins (compact), med+ intensity, coffee, hawthorn, red date, red roses, dark chocolate with a little bit bitterness at finish, med+ finish. Overall, very good wine. Compared to Pora, this wine is more restraint, not that perfume and vibrant.

  Tasted at the Produttori with Aldo Vacca. PnP unfortunately. Like the Pora it is a translucent medium ruby color and quite muted at first. After swirling it has more spice and fruit and less florals than the Pora but I find the fragrance quite beautiful. High acid and tannin. Rich and chewy on the palate, savory and red fruited. Seems like it is holding back a bit and needs more air and cellar time to come fully together.
