14% Alkohol.

Double decanted 6 hours earlier. Light ruby. Cool floral and pine needle tones. Medium weight, lean feel, sharp red fruit, tart cranberry acidity, sour cherry, excellent soil base. Slightly raspy finish with coarse tannins. I like the aromatics and crisp acidity but wonder if this has enough flesh for the long run. In a way, it reminded me more of Barbera than Nebbiolo.

This was a little thin for a barbaresco. Nice sandalwood note with light cherry fruit. It was thoroughly enjoyable it just lacked the backbone or verve that you would expect from the barbarasco.

It is too early to drink, but promising. I'd give it at least 5 more years in the cellar before opening next bottle.

PnP. Ready to drink but no rush. Nebbiola light, but tasty. Good length
