Tasting at Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg (Vosne Romanee): Very Vosne like with so much sweet black cherry and spice. Silky tannin. Another gear over the two Vosne village wines. Long, fresh, precise finish. 92-93+

Tuesday Burgundy Cellar Visits - Mugneret-Gibourg, Dujac, Château de la Tour, and Fourrier (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine, with Marie-Christine creating an assemblage from several barrels. Red cherry and berry throughout with some blacker fruits upfront. Leaner and brighter overall with a very long, textured and exciting finish. 91-93 point potential, 2028 forward.
