This bottle just missed that '90-handle' point score for me. Everything was just a bit over the hill. Tannin nearly gone, fruit a bit faded. The flavor profile was much sweeter (fig/prune, not in a bad way, just different) than almost every Barolo I have ever tasted. Perfectly enjoyable and complemented a grilled beef dish very well. Drink up if you happen to own this!

At Bistro Jeanty in Yountville during PNV week, a detour from a week of CA Cabs. This was included with northern Rhones and burgundy.
First time with this wine. Great Barolo, softened edges, red fruit is still ripe and coming through.
