Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & mulberries with overtones of floral notes of roses & earthy/dusty notes, orange peel, spices, herbs, minerals & a slight hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sour cherries, strawberries & pomegranate with herbs, spices & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.

Color of red roses and MacIntosh apples. It was much thinner / lighter than anticipated yet also tannic on the finish. Fruit was as expected with strawberries and cranberries, plus leather and spice (from the middle to the back end). Alcohol was moderately aggressive on the nose and palate. It's from 5 different vineyards but it was lacking any sense of terroir, and it's from a great vintage (2019) but it probably has very little staying power; drink now or within 5 years.

An excellent example of entry-level Barolo, this isn’t presently nearly as expressive as the 2018. I’ll give this a few more months before doing a full write-up. Drink 2025-2029 91

Just a baby, but so easy to drink now. Nose not very expressive. Rounded in the mouth with ample acidity, and the tannins in the background. Goes in easy, but packed full of complex flavors. Really good fruit.
