Fairly retiscent at first but opens in time to show a nicely balanced, restrained syrah. With dark sweet fruit, there is some soil, cinnamon, and minerality. The tannic structure shows some grit and the acidity is well balanced leading to a black pepper, spicy finish. I enjoyed this.

Aroma: Wonderful blackberry, baking spices, black cherry, and undertones of blueberry, cassis, and black figs.
Flavor: Smooth and rich, with some tannic activity and acid, but well integrated; a bit of black pepper, plenty of jammy blackberry and fruity cobbler flavors, black plum shines through as well, with some mild vanilla on the backend from the oak.
General impression: Very lush, slightly complex, delicious wine. Absolutely worth finding again.

Deep red wih purple hue round the edges. Spice on the nose with dark fruits. Medium body on the palate - spicy...white pepper on the front and leather and blackberries at the back with fine tannins. Decent length. Much better the afternoon after opening.

Dark red to black color, seems to be right on the verge of losing its youthful edge. Started out with smoked and dried meat, iodine, olives and earth tones on the nose. After some air it open with some cherry. The taste also had some cherry and raspberry, the aftertaste is again dominated by iodine and smoked meat, and hints of herbs. The tannins well integrated in the wine.

spice, less pepper, fruity and juicy. Harmony and rich mouthfeel. Soft tannin and structure. Sweeet and soft finish. Should rink it now.
