Nose of ripe red and black fruit, roasted spices, charcoal, a hint of oak and some black pepper. Medium to full body with good amounts of fruit. Cherries, black pepper. Not a lot of structure, but some acidity to give freshness to the wine. This was a well made wine, though not a show stopper.

Sineann wines and whole bunch of other stuff (Our home): I liked this more than a prior time trying a few years ago. It has a nice nose of plums, dark cherries and pomegranate. On the palate, this is smooth and drinks easily. There is an underlying layering that is interesting. Nice balance. Seems to be at maturity.

I am glad this was my only bottle of this wine. The nose gives off a little bit of charcoal and a lot of heat. The palate hits you with an instant sweet and sour sensation followed by a few seconds of bitter tannins and then it completely falls off a cliff. The bottle of '06 La Josefina I tried last week was much better.

Light in weight and a lightweight. Looks like it had been filtered, as it had very little body. Clear, ruby in color, but without the denseness or extraction that I wold have hoped for.

WOTN, beautiful Syrah blend, blackberry and dark fruits dominate, smooth long finish.
