Decanted for over 8 hours (!) at this point, but it needed the air. Nose has charred earth, some gravel, cherries, mint. Palate is initially very Bordeaux-like but as it gains air it is more Barolo with cherry fruit roll, some herbs, a tannic, tarry bitterness that is not overwhelming. Nice aged Barolo but it’s not exactly life-changing.
Update: after a night in the fridge in a mason jar (classy, I know ; ) it is still in a great spot, maybe slightly better. Juicy, leather, roasty, slightly floral, great balance. Definitely into the “aged” phase now but I think this has plenty of time left.

fantastic black fruit and florals, tannins built over 4 hours of decanting, still a few decades away from being in peak f=drinking, tannin wise and with sufficient concentration to make it

Clear, pale rust with heavy bricking.
Nose has an overwhelming tar note that was impossible for me to get past.
Palate is balanced and fully mature.
Flavours are fully mature with tar, earth and menthol.
Modest length.

This wine has now lost most of its fruit. If you still have a bottle or two left, open them. With any luck, drink them.
