  This wine was first rate! Hints of both red and black fruit. A nice sweetness with flavors of forest floor, wet earth, leather and a hint of cherry. Very long on the palate. A very generous and elegant wine. I was stunned how youthful this wine was and how well it performed. We served it along with a 1945 Leoville las Cases and much to my surprise it was better than a VERY GOOD Leoville.

Overigens geen Brane-Cantenac maar een Cantenac Margaux zonder verdere aanduidingen. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 9 + Smaak / Afdronk: 9 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 82/100
