Candie Does Cassoulet (Candie's, Mpls): Very dark red color. This had an hour and a half decant and then went back in bottle til opened about 8 ot 9 hours later. Drank a glass over 90 minutes plus. This was nice from the start, but it didn't take too long, maybe 15 or 20 minutes before it really showed the high toned perfume of cassis and raspberry fruit, very pure and inticing; anise, shellac, subtle violets and dried earth. The palate is a mix of the same fruits, black and red, more cassis shows over time, anise, mineral, graphite, medium-full bodied and light on its feet, polished tannins and quite suave. Glad to see I've got some of this. The air served it well, and this is ready for drinking now. 93(+)pts.

Acquired new and stored in commercial grade cellar since. Based upon the many reviews gave it 6 hour decant prior to Super Bowl. I am not sure it will improve but it is glorious now

Classic Margaux here. Silky smooth with outstanding aromatics of cedar, plums, and fresh clean dirt. Red fruited and classy on the palate. This wine is in early maturity with years ahead of it. A few glasses saved for day two showed equally well.

Decanted for an hour and a half. A few more years in the cellar will improve this delicious wine.
