Lotus of Siam Las Vegas/Charles 59th: A wonderful wine. Sweet apricots with a petrol note & slate. Rich densely flavored yellow stone fruits showing nectarines, peaches, and apricots. Oily texture. Nice length and quite enjoyable

Pours a crystal clear goldenrod. Even the color indicated that this wine is totally suspended in time. The nose is intoxocating; beeswax, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, mango, lavender, and chamomile. Some herbaceous qualities almost leaning toward wood sorrel. The palate is totally incredible. A rush of acidity up from balanced by honeycomb, chamomile, white tea. Some Saturn peaches, and cantaloupe. So complex. Acid is still rippingly high, but evened out by a still present sweetness and a rounding oily mouthfeel. Finish is long with white flowers and honeycomb. Just outstanding. This bottle was clearly stored perfectly it’s entire life and it shows. Outrageously good.

Just a super tasty bottle of wine. Petrol, pineapple and apple. Also exotic white fruits with great acidity and balance. Super food friendly also. Not a mind blowing bottle of wine but delicious.

Tons of dried fruits. Thought pineapple in particular. Acidity still there and was very pleasant on the palate. Did not have the musty nose of the previous bottle. Overall a better experience would tend to enjoy these now.
