BYOB with wines 30+ years (Sollentuna): Old Riesling, lots of sweetness, good acids, some diesel and some canned pineapple. Guessed Mosel correctly but was off on the sweetness, as I thought this was a Kabinett.

Nicely vibrant and ready. Bit of petrol on the nose and the pallet has laid down to be smooth and silky. Acidity is starting to fade, so it’s time to start drinking these up!

Another excellent showing. There's a bit of cheesy funk on the nose amidst bright floral, petrol, and ripe orchard fruit aromas, but with air the cheesy notes blow off to give way to more savoury smoky and developed notes. This is classic Mosel - ripe, bright, lightly sweet, and unbelievably light on its feet while conveying remarkable intensity of flavour at the same time. Bright acidity balances the sweetness perfectly, and the finish has tremendous length.

@BYOB, tasted blind
Honey, band aid, photoalbum, white flowers, canned apricot, sweet noticable, diluted on the palate
