Bit shy on nose when pop but quickly developed and opened up. Nice mix nose of red fruits, earth and hint of flower. It failed to develop uphill but very pleasant medium finish. Drinking well now and feel of maturity.

Bordeaux v Burgundy event (The Square Restaurant - London): Oh man, how wonderful is this stuff. Crystal clear with an incredible nose of laser-like precision of mushrooms and sous-bois. Fine fine fruit on the palate that is very precise and linear - nothing sticks out of place, this is just a wonderfully reserved and elegant Burgundy without any funkyness - just brilliant wine that whispers quality. Truly brilliant.

WOTN in the CT Bordeaux v Burgundy dinner 2011, this was fairly light in appearance, but packed a great punch, complex, deep, savoury and sensuous, great finish, I could have held this glass all night with my nose in it, wonderful stuff.

Somewhat stewy on the nose with background dark berries and soil tones, but showing no Richebourg elegance. Undifferentiated palate.
