I found 6 bottles that were not shown on CT. Nervous to see how bad this had gone and quite by surprise it is still very drinkable. Same with 2nd bottle. Got lucky on this one.

Decanted for 2 hours and enjoyed with filet mignon. Continued to open up for the next hour (maybe more if we had not finished). 3 bottles left and I suspect I will try to wait a few years for the next.

Arrived today and poured tonight (I know we should have waited). Fully mature high quality zin. It does appear this is at the end of its drinkable life, but still hanging on.

Beautiful combination of Sangiovese, Petite Sirah and Merlot. Very drinkable wine with nice but not overbearing expressions of fruit.
