Clear ruby color. Serious nose of Asian spice, pie cherry, and cranberry. On the palate, mostly walled off right now but some bright cherry peeks through. Nice one the finish but the tannins rule for right now. Very serious and shows a sense of place consistent the best Pommards. Hole at least 7 years, probably longer. If scoring 91-93.
Red
Clear garnet color. Beautiful nose of bright red fruits and spice. On the palate delicate with pie cherry, spice, and red raspberry. Nice finish with balanced acidity. Very pretty wine. Probably better in 2-3 years. If scoring 90-92.

Slightly improved over last tasting. Nose of red and black fruit with a hint of spicy oak. Palate dominated by red fruits with a hint of blackberry along with some nice spice from the oak. Finish was nicely balanced and not at all hot. Probably at peak, drink over the next year or so.

Nice nose of Pinot funk, sour cherries, bit of tar. On the palate, lots of red fruits that are walled off at the moment. Stern on the finish with nice acidity cutting through. Lots of structure. Hold 5+ years.

Found in the deepest darkest reaches of my cellar. Bought as a daily drinker many years ago so it was never in CT inventory. Unscrewed and poured. Nose of lime zest, citrus flowers, and hints of green apple. On the palate, zippy with bright citrus notes and a touch of apple. Nice crisp finish. A 10+ year old white that sold for $7 and drinks like this. Very pleasant surprise.

Popped and poured. Deep garnet with no bricking. Nose of black currants, sour cherry, hints of blackberry and spicy oak. On the palate lush but not heavyweight with flavors of red currant, blackberry, black cherry, with hints of vanilla. Long balanced finish. This would show well in a lineup of high priced wines. Drink or hold, this has a good life ahead.
