Probably some storage issue, this bottle is showing some aged wine plummy character in advanced, murky, drinkable but not at its peak.

One hour decant & one hour bottle breath, first pour was still muted, but quickly emerged, delicious with toasted tobacco, graphite, leather ... good length and complex, suspect at its peak now ... drink now or hold for next 5 years easily.

Drinking beautifully now ... perfect balance with very long finishing. Superb floral nose, can't stop putting my nose on the glass. Med body with Forest floor, truffle, tobacco, gravels, leather, bamboo shoot. Minerals shown up towards the end after 3 hours in the bottle. An elegant expression of terror, little to non tannins and hint of salinity. Great stuff...

Should have decanted for at least an hour before serving, quite closed & muted, probably overshadowed by Chateau Canon 2012. Nose & palate didn't really improve much in the first 2 hours ... a little of gravel, wet stones, cigar, but was not really pronounce with mediocre finishing. Wait for another 3 years then try the next bottle ...

The perfume / floral jump right out of the bottle upon opening, can be enjoyed right away, but I decanted for 2 hours and slowly drank over 2 hours. Good time to drink now, balance fruits & acid, forest floor, gravel, and long finishing.

Leathery, tobacco, spices, fresh dark fruits, long finishing. Needs 2 hours decant. Lacks the complexity but drinking well. Wait for another 3-5 years and try again.
