2nd and 3rd bottles much better, 1st must have been an off bottle. Nice wine better finish. dark plums and some cherry no tannins and medium acid. Does not compare well to the Virage bottles.

Have not had this bottle before but the finish was so short it did not exist, not great.
White
Very floral, lemon, pears and a bit of saltiness on the finish. The bright and juicy acidity is right up my alley. Outstanding

White - Sparkling
Have always loved this producer, rich fruit balanced acidity and ultimately drinkable. Pears and white peach, each glass was better than the last.

Power with restraint and always shows balance and delicious, a wine for me that brings back memories. Can't ask for more than that! They have been hard to find here for a long time, glad i found some. Guess this is a personal note not a tasting note :)

Really lovely bottle, melons, lemon drop, Peach mineral and has complexity. Really dig the hints of Mandarin.

Was great to re-visit this producer after so many years, nothing too serious but seriously delicious.

Drank last night and she's beautiful, dark in color but light on it's feet, good acid and medium tannin.

Pretty dark and brooding wine, has some herbal thing going on too. Also a bit metallic or something on the mid palate? Maybe i'm drinking it to young? Will try again tomorrow.

Have not had a bottle from this producer in a number of years, and glad I picked this one up, that said this is a really great bottle. Picked up a couple from Costco recently. Bright red fruit, some darker fruit in the mid palate just a hint of animal and great depth, medium plus acidity and med plus tannin. i will give the rest of my bottles a year or two. Will get more.

Fruit/Vegetable Wine
On a hot evening this was gorgeous! Nice mousse and even picking up some earthy flavors. Really nice
White
Lemon oil gives it a creamy almost fat feel in the mouth but then comes the bracing acidity to cut through it, very nice bottle. I think I detected some tropical fruits with a hint of cut grass. Lovely bottle and drink from now to who the hell cares it will probably last a long long time.

The basic bottling from Kelley Fox and a good one, I have had a number of them over the last year or so and have always loved them. Last night I picked up a bit of a savory note (maybe soy?) which is a very pleasant addition to an already delicious bottle. Very balanced and a fine entry level bottle.

Peach, stone fruit and something herbal/green. Balanced acidity and a lovely bottle on a hot day.
Red
Really beautiful Barbera, black cherry, baking spice and balsamic flavors. Nice acidity.

Strawberry, spices and mineral, great acidity a lovely bottle!

Just too much oak for my liking, fruit trying to poke through.

Was gifted a case of this for Christmas because I am fond of this producer. Because I really have no room for more wine I was unsure if this was a great idea? But it's the thought that counts :) Anyways after trying one I have to say they really did a great job with this wine, lots of cherry and dark berries, throw in a nose full of dry tumble weeds good acid and a bite of tannin I am really happy with this wine/gift! Gotta love simple pleasures.
Red
I hint of tartness on the PNP, an hour in bright strawberries and cherry with a bit of black/green tea? earth/cellar floor. Fine acidity and tannin, so delicious now and plenty of room to grow.

First night nicely balanced fruit with hints of animal that just added complexity. Good acid and tannin. Night two it was a sour mess that gave me a headache I'm thinking drink up if you have them.
Red
Bright raspberry and hints of cherry, nicely balanced between acid tannin and fruit. Hard to beat for the price.
Rosé
Watermelon strawberry and brilliant acidity, nice depth.

Beautiful purity of fruit, strawberry and cherry. Needs a bit of time to unfurl in the decanter. Drinking very well but should have quite a long life.

Absolutely delicious young wine, rustic spicy, good depth of fruit all while staying elegant on the palate. A damn sight better than the 15 Donjon imho. I think time will really have rewards with this bottle.

I don't remember buying these and much like Tastark god only knows what they really are judging from the 1997 cork but i'm glad I got a couple! Very floral cherry and dried cranberry, nice acidity and not filtered. Lovely bottle

Lots of white pepper? cranberry and black cherry. It was nice but the pepper was a bit distracting, not sure I ever had a Grenache with so much pepper showing? Interesting bottle

2004 Nicholas Cole Cellars Reserve Walla Walla Valley Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Excellent bottle really in it's prime now! Black and red fruits a bit of dusty cellar floor and leather, good acid streak that makes for a long finish. Tannin structure still alive. Nice bottle
Red
This bottle had plenty of fruit the problem for my palate was it was sour fruit, not just tart but sour. Not a fan so far...
Red
Another bottle I would not have pulled from the cellar but my daughters boyfriend did so we drank. Still hard tannins and lovely black fruit hiding. Wait 4 or 5 years at least.

2014 Château Giscours Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
This wine is elegant! medium body lovely strawberry earth and pencil lead. Fine tannin and acid structure. Pleasant to drink now but has a fine future. Would never have pulled this bottle to drink now, I was running late for my daughters birthday dinner and asked her boyfriend to pull a couple of bottles out of the cellar and this was one of them. Oh well good times.

2016 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Wine Evangelho Vineyard Contra Costa County Zinfandel Blend, Zinfandel (view label images)
Just popped one of these in honor of Mr Evangelho's passing and the new Bedrock release. Have not been buying many Bedrocks lately but tasting this I guess that will change. Young yes but damn has some spice and a dusty earthy Mourvedre kind of nose, brilliant red and dark berries. On the lighter side and I dig it. What nice wine with potential for an even more delicious future.

65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, really bright on the palate. Delicious Pinot notes come through with fine acidity. Just a delicious and very reasonably priced bottle.

Took this baby for a spin tonight, very elegant wine for a 35 bones! Cherry raspberry with all kinds of spice and mineral on the palate. Brilliant acidity and lovely silky transition from start to finish. IMHO if you're not drinking Kelley's wines you are missing some of the best domestic Pinot's being made today, and this wine is at the lower end of her wines. Excellent.

Aromas of soil violets cherry blossom and red raspberry, on the palate plum wet soil soy and crunchy red raspberry nice mineral presence float across your tongue. Still has bright acidity and grip which makes for a long finish, not heavy not light just incredible balance from start to finish. No signs of fading this could have many years left and easily right at the top for the best domestic pinot's I have had the pleasure to drink. Best Pinot of the year for me, excellent!

1970 Château La Lagune Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Bordeaux dinner and this bottle really shined, old bottle funk blew off quickly leaving a nose of red and black berries, color deep purple almost no bricking. Plums and red fruit hints of licorice and smoke leather and earthy minerality, hard to believe this bottle is 48 years old and was strong for 3 hours through dinner. Real old school Bordeaux that still has some legs for the future imho. Excellent!

This bottle was in perfect condition and it showed on the palate, bright black and red fruits, pepper white pepper and earth, tannins were integrated nicely. Hints of game that gave it a wild side and balanced acid and a silky long finish. Very nice bottle

This bottle had hints of tar lots of earthy notes and blackberries, interesting because the last bottle was pretty much all strawberry notes? Tannin has balanced out and good acidity. Nice bottle.
Rosé
Salmon color, medium body balanced acidity, orange zest, peach and pear. eminently drinkable and delicious. Need more for summer.

Quite a bit of delicious plum and red fruits but man this vintage is just overwhelmed with American oak/dill right now. I think this will come around but it's going to take a long time.
