OVERALL IMPRESSION (What we liked/didn’t like):
Liked this wine a lot. Has a deep aroma right out of the bottle. Liked the long finish. Classic Cab but on the dry side. Very balanced. Delicious with or without food. Had it with a tomato based pasta and it was excellent.

Standard Score: 91
Vivino Score: 4.2

Excellent bold Cab. blackberry oak with a cherry pepper finish. Fruits and tannins are well balanced. Perfect steak wine. Very good Cab for the money. Would definitely buy again.

Still very young. Definitely needs to be decanted for at least an hour.

Another bottle spoiled. Bad corker in my opinion.

Wine is full bodied and drinkable but otherwise totally unremarkable. No traditional Zin spice. Could have been any inexpensive "red" table wine at a chain restaurant.

Nice nose. Spicy Zin that needs about an hour decanting. Decent wine for the price.

Promising nose but otherwise no better than average. Missing body and even an unpleasant tartiness to the finish. Watch the food pairing. Probably OK with acidic foods.

Beautiful and Bold. This wine is in its prime. Deep Ruby with a perfect rim. Excellent legs. Spice, pepper, and blackberry notes on the nose. Full body. Lasting and smooth finish.

Drank it a little past prime but still an excellent wine. Beautiful light Ruby. Rim a bit orange-brown, again owing to the age. Hints of plum and raisin on the nose. Medium body with a nice long, soft finish. A bit short lived out of the bottle. Clearly a magnificent wine in its day. Would have been a jewel about 2-3 years ago.

Wine is well past prime. May have been slightly damaged by non controlled storage. Evidence of poor corkage with a possible leak. Deep ruby color but the rim is showing its age - orange plum. Leather and vanilla on the nose and a hint of jam which quickly dissipates. Short finish with hints of leather and tar and light tobacco. Medium body. Overly acidic 30 minutes out of the bottle making it essentially undrinkable. Waited too long on this one.

Nice table wine. Had a bottle with a nice Neopolitan Pizza. Great pairing. This wine drinks well young.

Poor wine. Tastes like a mass produced dime store wine. Not anything like the 2009 which is excellent.

Nice wine for the price. A bit fruity as Zins go. Definitely still very young and lacks structure at this point.

Excellent Pinot. Beautiful fragrance. Light Ruby color. Slight smoky overtones that pair perfectly with light meats or wood fired pizza. Very balanced wine.

Standard Rosso. Nothing remarkable. Needs at least 4 hours out of the bottle to open the complex flavors.

Light ruby color. Nice bouquet with light smoky notes. Nice on the palate but a bit fruity for our liking. Definite cranberry evident in the finish and did not care for that. Prefer heavier wines but even for a Pinot this was missing the elements of a quality wine.

For the value. Decanted for two hours and was still opening up despite its youth.
