Very attractive! Ethereal and profound. Wonderful balance plus complexity and length. A different wine and a different level compared with two years ago. One of these wine moments. Recommended music to have with this nectar: Carl Maria Von Weber, Max Raabe or Nick Drake, or all three of them.

Verkligt massiv frukt, imponerande längd med en syra som dansar över tungan, anar ett underbart djup under ytan men ännu mkt ungt. Ett vin av mkt hög klass. Inbillar mig att detta når platåfas först om 5-10 år. Har ni flera flaskor: testa en nu men för guds skull spara några flaskor också.

Beautiful amber color. Tangerine, orange blossom, ripe yellow apples, ginger and cloudberry on the nose. Oxidative. Good acidity and aging potential. A great Rioja experience. I will try to get hold of a few more bottles from this producer!

Denna flaska inte på prestigenivå dessvärre. Salt som en Muscadet och nästan kladdig mousse. Behållningen var hur funky den var. I skuggan av eleganta 2002 som provades parallellt.

Hög kvalitet och alla klassiska toner på plats men inget wow i just denna flaska. Kommer med tid högst sannolikt. Betydligt bättre än 2003 vi provade parallellt som var salt som en Muscadet och betydligt mindre elegant med en nästa kladdig mousse, dålig flaska? Sämre årgång!

Sommaren största vinupplevelse. Ett komplext vin. Frukt, mineral, blommor, kryddor i ett intrikat samspel. Rent och klingande. Underbart rund och lätt oljig munkänsla. Jag läser om reading between the wines. Detta är vad Terry Theise talar om.

Pär: Ointegrerad ek som hovrade över vobbligt vin. Mejerismöret hängde som en dimma över ytan. Sannolikt hade luftning gjort sitt till. Dyrt för vad man får när det är som denna flaska.

Nose: intense red fruit, cherry, violet pastill, lavender, minerality which is like a warm dusty gravel road, also iron. A little bit of yeasty banana which is a minus, due to youth?
Palate: smooth start, then a nice balanced intensity with a fairly prominent warmth, length is good.
A well structured and interesting food wine, worked really well with deer.
A slight organic feel about it and definitely a good representative of the region. Will probably age pretty well for some years. We visited the vineyard in June 2016, it is a beautiful place. The vines and vineyards seem harmonious.

Impressive vigour and youth for a 30 year old dry white wine. Prominent, high class wood balanced by a fresh and youthful acid. Nose is initially powdered sugar. Very good.

Open. Eucalyptus, licorice, leather, and after some time loads of roasted coffee. Fairly light and lacking some in concentration, the aftertaste could be longer.

The smell of an oncoming summer rain. The highly intensive perfume initially really reminds me of ozon. After that waves of high quality fruit, a whiff of saffron and blue cheese. Great viscous texture, bright acidity, very clean and all about quality. Long finish. Ready but with plenty of life ahead. Very good.

For me the wine of the evening. The nose is like a Hermes Cavale Saddle. Deep and masculine taste. Oustanding!
