Drinking at absolute prime now. Pop and pour. Fine tannins, abundant fruit, cassis and chocolate on the palate, lengthy finish.

This was drinking 100% flawless last night. Color and concentration was insane. The wine was enormous in scale without a hint of oak. Abundant dark fruits with excellent acidity and it evolved nicely in the glass. Finish went on for at least 45 seconds. Biggest issue was not polishing off the bottle. I’ll revisit my last bottle in a year or two but hard to imagine it could get better. This was the best burg for me this year so far and I’ve had some great ones.

The wine is a stunning light ruby in the glass, with beautiful perfumed aromas of cherries, strawberries, and gooseberries. The mouthfeel is very light bodied with extremely pure fruit with nice depth, soft, voluptuous tannins, and balanced acidity. The finish is very clean and fresh. This isn't very complex and has limited aging potential but is such a great representation of the terroir and region. At about $25, it's a great value!

Light ruby in the glass, notes of sour cherries and cranberry on nose, earth, balsamic, and sous bois on palate, with nice tart acidity well-structured tannins and precise minerality; nice finish. Had with garlic pasta and the acidity and tannins stood up to the strong garlic flavors and the wine drank perfectly. Amazing wine for $28-30. Declassified Cru wine.

This was a very nice typical rioja, with not a hint of its 12 years. Beautiful nose of red fruits and vanilla, and stunning palate with almost mature well-integrated tannins. For $20, just an amazing value.

Coconut, creme brûlée, and honey on the nose, with ample acidity supporting additional dried apricots on the palate and a nice long finish.

Perfumed, fragrant nose, tart acidity on the mid palate; fruit is there but a bit muted at this time; i think this needs a few years to come together.

This was phenomenal but needed some air to open up: cranberry and red and dark fruits with great structure; 1-2 years would really help. Was much better after revisiting 30 min later.

Stunning wine in a underrated vintage. Huge bouquet of fruits on the nose, but shockingly, somewhat accessible (from 375). This will be good for 20+ years but I wouldn't touch it for at least 8-10 years in 750.
