Last bottle of this vintage. Very rich and fruit forward, many layers of dark berry, oak, spice, and licorice. Terrific Cab Sauv, still at a peak.

Very powerful and full-bodied, yet elegant and balanced in structure. Complex and luscious dark fruit along with cassis, cocoa, and oak elements. This was my first bottle and I was quite impressed with this wine's potential.

This has aged very well. Vibrant core of dark fruit, with mature leather and wood tones, but still fresh with balance acidity. Lovely finish. Best wine of the night among several old magnums from the cellar.

Lovely aromatics and solid core of dried fruit, earth/mineral tones, and soft finish. A lovely wine, but lacks depth and body, left me a bit underwhelmed.

This bottle was saved for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. Dark and aromatic immediately upon opening. It had a muscular structure with concentrated black fruit, hints of chocolate and wood, yet a soft velvety finish. It lived up to the reputation of this vineyard and winemaker.

Very dark color and menthol aroma. This is silky smooth but packs a ton of rich fruit along with coffee, cocoa, black pepper, and wood. This is excellent now but I anticipate it getting even better with more cellar time.

Last bottle of this Brunello got lost in the cellar for a while. The wine has faded some, but still has mild raspberry fruit mixed with rustic tones of leather and spice. Still very enjoyable, with flavors enhanced paired with marinara sauce.
