Disappointing. I was expecting a 2013 to be rich and full of flavor - this bottle does not live up to the KB legend. I'm hoping my other two 2013s are better.

Hate this is my last bottle - beautiful color with long lingering finish of dark berries with a bit of toasted wood.

Not overly impressed. Light salmon color, not much finish and a bitter. There are much better Roses for this price.

Absolutely beautiful with caramel and toasty notes; blackberry and dark red fruit. Smooth mouth feel and lingering finish making for each sip to be delightful.

Very different Sav Blanc than I normally drink - I prefer those from the Loire Valley with minerality and little pronounced citrus - this most definitely had a residual oily smell and taste on the first day and a very pronounced taste of muscadine wine on the second. I would try it again.

Absolutely beautiful wine. Deep dark with earthy nuances and dark berries, a hint of chocolate. Really good the first night and fabulous the second night as it had really opened.

Purchased this from a wine dinner with Raul Perez where it was paired with beautiful Spanish seafood. Love the citrus - predominantly lemon - throughout the palet; beautiful minerality and salinity.

Crisp and dry. For the price I think it is very good. Strawberry and maybe some cherry. Not much of a finish. I wish I'd purchased more than w bottles.

This is still one of our favorite Sancerres; bright, flinty, right balance of acidity and clean finish.
Subtle nose with a bit of apple and pear.
Palate is citrus, flint/rock and a nice rounded mouth feel.
Dry and refreshing.

Very much enjoyed the first glass without food. Beautiful nose of apple and that flinty/rocky smell.
The palate is complex, I really taste the Viognier, which I love.
Very nice rounded mouth feel. Well balanced.
After being open for 2 days I felt the Chard became dominant and, while still good, I did not enjoy it as much.

Absolutely beautiful nose. Very deep purple with chocolate and dark tea on the nose. Very ripe strawberries, dark fruit, earth on the palate. Very clean finish - really really good with seared lamb chops.

I did not realize when I purchased this that is is from Raventos - I would have bought a bottle sooner had I known.

I like it! Unfiltered with good acidity. Definitely get red fruit like raspberry and rose petals on the nose.

Crisp, dry. Make a good aperitif.

Great light rose. The acidity is fine and there is a touch of sweetness on the finish. Not elegant or serious. Good for the price.

Love this very pale pink rose. It has bright acidity with citrus and maybe strawberries/raspberries, touch of peach. We had it with a milder shrimp and grits and it was delicious. Definitely a wine for an aperitif or light seafood, chicken salad type dishes. Anything too spicy would take from the subtleties of the wine.

I continue to enjoy this Cava. It's great when you want something light, refreshing and not serious. Light citrus and some minerality make it easy drinking.

Paired this with a salmon dish which should have gone well - I thought this One Sixteen was a bit too oaky. I'm not fond of the big CA oak chardonnay. Definitely has some good citrus notes which saved it for me from being over the top with oak.

Beautiful dark red/purple with lots of red fruit and little tannins for being young. I opened the bottle and started sipping while cooking dinner - not too much difference in taste/mouth feel after close to 2 hours.

I still love this wine. It is rustic and earthy. Opened but did not decant about an hour before drinking. Lots of dark red fruit, tobacco, spice and those earthy aromas and tastes. It was great with a very hardy chicken and bean stew and later with chocolate cookies for dessert.

Very dark red, more purple. Lovely dark fruit, smoke and flinty. Definitely needs some air to soften the tannins. I have another bottle, so we will see what comes of it.

This pinot is aging beautifully! Dark ruby color. The nose is lush with dark red fruit and some warm spices. The first sip is a bit sweet followed by dark red cherries, plums, pepper and mild vanilla - we just love Halleck wines. Had this with our New Year's Day dinner of confit turkey legs with traditional black eye peas and chard.

Really like this wine from the 'boot' of Italy. The Verdeca grape is planted in an interesting pattern called sextonce - with each vine being the middle of a hexagon; lots of sun and good underground water source so the wines don't stress producing a nicely balanced with the chalk and mineral aspects; nice body with apple flavors, long finish. Crisp and delicious.

Such a beautiful vine! This '08 was great straight from the bottle with out needing to decant, it had a fine nose of red berries. Great texture in the mouth, soft with red fruit, subtle tannins - this may be the most full-bodied, or dense, of the Halleck offerings.

I love Gewürztraminer and this one is an outstanding Alsace type; bone dry with lots of tropical fruit on the nose and palate. It was the perfect companion to Chinese Sesame Egg Noodles. I wish I had opened an older bottle....

This wine is at or very near it's peak. It was beautiful out of the bottle and got better as the meal went on. Gorgeous red color, lots of red fruit on the nose with some dark cherries, maybe pomegranate to the taste with cinnamon. Glad I have 2 bottles left.

This is fast becoming my favorite Rose since we had it on vacation in St M last summer. Gorgeous orangey pink color with an amazing nose of citrus. It's the stone fruit - peach - and raspberry with an herbal hint that just keep me sipping and sipping. It's clean with nice acidity and mouthfeel that pairs so well with food - last night we had it with beautiful panned skate and a corn and okra medley - great summer meal.

Great Corvina red. Granted, the wine is now 5 years in the bottle and the tannins have integrated well. Lots of dark red cherry, good mouth feel. I wish I had purchased more than the one bottle.

I love the story behind this wine - it is the college fund for the three sons. A beautiful red color this wine is best opened early as it takes a bit for it to open. Definitely cherry and that earthy taste that I really like. Some spices I want to say are warm like cinnamon. I think the acidity and tannins are pretty well balanced - it's juicy. It can age for a few more years.

Beautiful dark Pinot - the color definitely reminded me of the dark cherry and plum flavors with a hint of chocolate and smoke. The nose is divine with rose and fruit. The first sip was good - tight; as time passed the fruit and herbs were more apparent and the tannins smoothed out. I'm going to try to wait another 6 months before trying another bottle.

This is such an amazing wine. Great quality and nicely priced. With that beautiful mouth-watering acidity, chalky minerals and scrubbed shells along with a big round mouth feel not usually found in a Sancerre. Beautiful to sip and excellent paired with a mushroom pasta with homemade lovage/parsley pesto and some pancetta crumbles.

This is an absolutely beautiful wine. Very crisp and elegant - reminiscent of a Loire Sancerre yet a bit more refined. Lots of citrus on the nose with some fruity/floral. The minerality is perfect in the center with a bit of salinity and a very long wonderful lingering finish. Love to drink this wine, hate that it will all be gone soon.

This is a gorgeous Rose from Menetou-Salon, called the little sister of Sancere and for good reason this is gaining popularity. Beautiful pink color in the glass with a slight berry nose. The acidity is perfect with notes of stone and that wonderful minerality. The long finish will make you wonder why you didn't try this sooner. 100% Pinot Noir from Rosenthal - another winner.

10 years old and wonderful! Pale gold in color. Tiny bubbles.

The apple is very smooth yet crisp and the toasty bread flavors are coming out.

Totally enjoyed this, caused us to pause after the first sip to say, wow, this is good...and said it serval more times before the bottle was done.

The 2014 vintage is beautiful in the glass with lots of citrus on the nose. The bright citrus and salinity on the palette are amazing and, coupled with a very long mineral forward finish makes this great with food. Serve it cool so all the flavors bloom.

60% Syrah- 40% Grenache blend - very approachable and drinkable. Pretty salmon color, not much nose, a bit of strawberry and maybe lavender. There is a bit of citrus on the palate, dry but not as dry as some. For $9.00 it's a porch/beach wine that would please just about anyone. For more serious Rose drinkers go with Château Puech-Haut Coteaux du Languedoc Saint-Drézéry Rosé Prestige.

This is a really great blend - Merlot and Sangiovese - showing very deep red almost purple. Smells delicious, a bit spicy. Very smooth with hints of the warm spices, maybe some vanilla and red fruit.
We had it with pasta puttanesca, perfect!

Beautiful deep color and nice nose. Definitely needs decanting as it improved as the night went on and was - I dare say - better the second night as the tannins had almost completely dissipated and the deep red cherry flavor was prominent.

I like a Muscadet and think this one is fairly typical - crisp with the green apple taste. It is not outstanding yet perfectly drinkable and good on it's own. I had it with a roasted chicken and thought it was good.

This is a beautiful deep red with lots of chocolate and cola flavors. I decanted for about 45 minutes and it opened nicely. It was excellent with a green curry pork loin. Should continue to age very well.

Absolutely beautiful! I love Halleck wines and this one is seriously up there with the best Gewürztraminer I've ever had. Loaded with light fruit flavors, beautiful nose, nice mouth feel. I paired this with a Sesame Noodle with chicken dish and it was perfect.
