Fine one from JC. Salty lemon, honey and cream at opening. The palate was much better after an hour. Creamy, vanilla, crispy with long finishing. Very enjoyable wine.

LPM is right above the legendary Richbourg and next to Cros Parantoux and la Romanee.

The wine seemed to be very closed even after 2hours, a lot of character on the nose, floral, juicy mixed with a lot of berries but it was very soft on the palate. However, the wine kept evolving and turned into a little giant after 4 hours. The structure was well balanced with a good mixed of fav and a lovely very long sour plummy chocolate oak finishing.

A very rare cru near clos de la roche. Les Charrières' east-facing position at the bottom of the slope gives the vines a gentle angle toward the rising sun. This exposure helps the vines to develop sugars and phenols in the cool Burgundian climate, but this is less efficient than in the steeper vineyards higher on the hill (which also have slightly better drainage). As such, grapes retain more acidity and Les Charrieres Premier Cru wines tend to be slightly leaner than Morey-Saint-Denis Grand Cru wines.

This wine also has a very good structure with rich aroma of red fruits and berries. 90% detalked with process during vinification. Around 1/3 new oak. It has a full body with a lot of texture on the wine itself. Long bitter and acidic finishing. Bitter tannin but it gets smoother after a few hours. Still feel a lot of potential on this wine.

69% cab 31% merlot. Still very young, a very classic margeaux, red fruits, vanilla, cherry, strewberry with hints of oak. Full body wine with a lot of structure. Long finishing. Great one for this value.

dark purple colour. This wine is a blend of 50% cab sau, 45% merlot and 4% pv + 1% cab fr. The wine is wide opened with a lot of berries jam with a mixture of cassis, spicies and vanilla oak. Medium body wine with a lot of tannin + bitter finishing. This wine still has a lot of potential. Should try again in the 2yrs.

Powerful wine, it has everything you want from a shiraz from barossa. Typical new wine wine with a lot of oaky fav and powerful fruits but lack of the complexity and characters. But great one especially with a lot of meats.

Clos de la Roche is definitely one of my fav grand cru, very firm, strong and deep.. a lot of structure on the noise with good mixture of everything with a well balanced of vanilla and oak. Full body wine with long finishing. Good use of oak by this domaine laurent as usual.

Yum. Very floral on the nose with red roses mixed with red fruits with hints of oak. Very nice on the palate with a great structure, well balanced tannin and alcohol. After 2 hours, the fruit fav came out. Very complex with sour plummy finishing. Silky wine with great fineness. Delicious but the finishing was a but soft. Well made for a village wine but fully reflected on the price.

The 2014 Brunello di Montalcino Luce is a great surprise from me. The wine is powerful and well balanced and a well made for a difficult year. 15.5% alcohol level did stand out but with s concentrated fruits on the palate with a very intense aroma made this wine to be one of the best of the vintage at BdM. Love it.

negociant wine. Opened for 1 hour, the overall experience was great. Wonderful nose, lots of red berries, rose, red fruits, everlasting with complex structure. The wine consistently evolved during the 2 hours. Very nice on the palate, fruits with hints of oak. However, the finishing was a bit weak for this 2013. Amazing wine with probably one of most difficult vintage. Very remarkable and enjoyable.

Past prime but it is still a good one to drink. the current peak is after around an hour of decant. It showed the character on the nose with attractive berries mixed with a fine smoky cinnamons. Medium body wine with nice acidic sour plum finishing.

This is a little baby, will surely develop into a grest one. It has a lot of fruits, very intense, very full. Opened for 1 day, then the wine developed into a beautiful one with complex aroma with a good mix of floral, berrys. Very full body with long finishing. Need to wait at least 5 more yrs.

Very well made by the producer. Started with a lot of fruits, cherry,raspberry, berry, roses, very concentrated. Then became a lot more complex after a while, oaky, smoky all came out. Very full body of wine with a lot of fruit and texture. End up with a long silky finishing. Very nice one. Good to drink now.
