Consistent with the last tasting note, the wine is very muted, showing some reticent sour cherry / cranberry notes on the nose, but not much else. In the mouth it's a bit hot, with prickly acidity and a short finish. Notes were consistent over 3 days. As the last tasting note mentioned, this doesn't seem at all consistent with the other previous tasting notes. This bottle was from the BerzerkerDay sale.

After a few hours of air, the nose was much more effusive with almonds and white flowers, and the mouthfeel became both lighter, more balanced, and a tough racier. 3 years since the last bottle, and the wine has completely integrated with lots of fruit coming through, verging on overripe (for Oregon). Tannins are moderate, and acidity gives it a refreshing lift on the finish. The nose, however, is still largely MIA, with mostly vague medicinal notes.
