Might’ve been flawed but it wasn’t good.

Very good rose. Juicy and flavorful. Tasted better as bottle opened up… could probably wait longer before opening.

Slightly off after PNP, but after giving it some air it was smooth, slightly fruit forward, and delicious. Looking forward to more Piece by Piece wines from Forge. This will do well in the bottle for another 5-10 years but would be pleasant to drink immediately with some decanting.

Delicious. Mineral driven. For being so young it’s very tasty. Another fantastic Forge DR!

Had the opportunity to buy 2 more of these from Forge’s library selection. After sitting on a 2019 for a few years, I finally drank it. Delicious. Obvious it was in an oak barrel and had an oaky after taste. Dark, oaky cab franc. Drinking perfectly right now… plan on drinking the other 2 in the next year or less. Not sure how much longer it’ll good.

Quite tasty for being so young. Shalestone like texture on the tongue. Sandy loam terroir and flavor. Im sure it’ll be good over time but it is delicious right now. Perfect for a hot summer day!

Definitely a different Cabernet Franc. A lot more fruit forward and the smell after PNP was straight jammy. Strawberry jam. It was almost sweet smelling. That smell subsided to a blackberry jammy smell/taste. Day one turned out fantastic but day 2 was even better. I wish I had more than the one glass left for day 2… luckily I have another bottle that I’ll sit on for a little bit to try to get that Day 2 magic!

Oaky Sauv Blanc. Full flavor. Different spin but roots of it is still Sauv Blanc.

Solid rose. Like that it’s Pinot/syrah blend. Different, lovely take. Dark, ripe strawberry smell on the nose. I taste cherries on the back end but not fruity.

Fantastic! Still zesty and fresh. Even though I feel like it’s a perfect summer wine, it paired nice with some orange chicken lettuce wraps. Lemon zest on back end lingers in mouth well after taste. Happy to have a couple more of these left!

Taste strawberries and cranberries. Should be good for another 10+ years. Great to drink now, can only imagine what this will taste like in another 10 years. The cranberry lingers on the tongue. Very good. Learning that I can't go wrong with anything from Bedrock!

As a base Zinfandel this was quite lovely. Fruit forward. I've only had Zinfandels a few times over the years and never found them too appealing since sometimes they would come out sweeter but this one makes me interested in them in the future. I'll be looking at more Zinfandel from Bedrock. Tasting great now, but still slightly tannic even after being open for 3 days. Tasted each day and it was great until the end. This can be enjoyed now or can easily be held onto for 5-7+ years.

Haven’t drank one in over a year and it is a huge improvement. It needed the extra time in the bottle and it could use more years. I plan on drinking 1 a year but might skip next year. Bottle was open for about 2 hours before drinking. Dark cherries, smooth finish.

Solid base Cab Sauv. One of the better dry reds from Pennsylvania. Dark fruit. Slight tannins on back end. I will be interested in these in the future. Think cost is a little high for what it is, but glad to support local wineries.

Great Syrah from Bedrock. It’s drinking perfectly right now. PnP and first smell was dark fruit and tobacco and couldn’t stop smelling. Taste matched perfectly with some pepper on back end. Disappointed that I only recently found Bedrock in the last few years and wish I had more of these.

Solid Meritage from Damiani. I think the 2019 had more complexion and variety, but the 2020 varietal is very smooth. Curious how this will evolve over time.

Unfortunately this wine was oxidized. After seeing other tasting notes, I wish I could've experienced it. Looking forward to trying new vintages in the future.
Edit: Bedrock is sending me a replacement bottle. Excited to try!

Fantastic wine. Tasted great right out of the bottle, but finished drinking over 3 days and arguably even better on day 3. A splendid mixture of fruit and spices. This is only my 4th bottle from Bedrock and by far my favorite so far.

This is a fantastic Dry Riesling from the FLX region. First vintage for the Paul Hobbs vineyard and I feel like this will be a hard one to follow up on. Tangy in a fruity way and refreshing.

2020 was a great growing season in the FLX region. I’ve noticed a few 2020 dry whites from other producers also having that “sweetness” on the taste. I think it’s more about bringing the fruit forward and highlights a Dry Riesling in another way. This is a perfect wine for a hot summer day. This reminds me of another fruit forward DR in the FLX region from Kemmeter.

One of my favorites from the FLX for Dry Riesling. Each vintage evolves but seems to get better. This one is slightly acidic but very crisp. Fruit forward I initially and acidic on back end. Lemon zest and faint green apple notes on smell but very faint.

Compared to the 2016 Maximilien from Ravines, I thought the Max had more mouthfeel and structure. However, this still very good. Still has tannins on the back end and should be good for another 5-8 years at least. Wish I had another bottle to try in the future!

Decent Bordeaux. Nothing really complex about it. Not a bold blend with slight fruit forward taste. It seems to struggle with a direction and isn’t very distinct. It is very drinkable. The blend is cab Sauvignon, blaufrankisch, and cab franc. I think blaufrankisch dominated the taste and should’ve been a smaller percentage. All grapes were from Sawmill Creek in the area which consistently has been a great vineyard from many different producers. I will always want to try Sawmill grapes.

Slight petrol and lemongrass on the nose. Initially I got a strong green apple taste with a lemon zest on the back end. As it opened up the green apple and lemon were equally there. This is a fantastic Dry Riesling. Looking forward to future vintages.

Still young… needs more time in the bottle. Will try in the Fall. The taste is sharp and ends quickly. Not the long lasting flavor I remember in previous vintages. Missing the cherry tones. Slight oakiness.

Decanted for 3 hours. Tasted completely different and really brought out the smell and taste. Dry cherry taste, in a flavorful way. This is a Pinot that can wait a few more years before trying another bottle.

Had strawberry notes in taste and smell. Taste was strawberry early but didn’t last. Not the driest rose but dont think it was supposed to be. Refreshing but if looking for a DRY Rose this wouldn’t be the first choice.

I agree with Melzar… this Cabernet Franc might still be a bit young. Got a lot of acid. After reading other reviews I let the bottle open up before drinking and it was still slightly acidic. Day 2 and 3 were significantly better as it mellowed out and became much smoother and started to be a little bit more fruit forward. I have another bottle that I’m going to drink next year to compare.

First opening it was incredibly floral in taste and smell. After giving in a little bit of air the smell became less floral but the taste continued to be just as bright. Drank the bottle over two days and the taste didn't flatten at all. For the price of a Finger Lakes Sauvignon Blanc this is great value. Would definitely recommend.

Subtle cherry notes in the smell can be deceiving because once it's tasted it bursts with brighter cherry flavor. It's fruit forward but almost ends with a faint tobacco finish. It's still young but already so good. I have 5 other bottles and coravined this first one so I plan to taste again in a month to see how it evolves. It's going to be hard to not open another bottle before then. I doubt it can be shelved for long either way. Think it'll be good for a few years tops.

One of my favorite Unoaked Chardonnays from the FLX region thus far. Has that buttery taste but I keep thinking like a sweet Brie cheese with a taste that lingers on the tongue but not in an oaky way. Highly recommend! Hopefully Weis Vineyards makes another Unoaked Chardonnay in the future!
