Already a pleasent drink - but will shine even more with further storage - atleast 5 years in my opinion.

Lovely bold flavour and classic bouzy pinot noir with lots of candied fruit. Very good QPR

Bought in 2019 at the house. Not sure on disgorgement date.
If memory serves me right this bottle is produced at a lower pressure of 3 bars. Big bubbles and a quite shy nose mostly bringing hints of Camille. Smooth and clean mouthfeel and very easy and pleasant drinking. Reminded me of a Sancerre with boubles…?

2019 disgorgement.
Powerful champagne! This is now truly starting to come around. Clear evidence of the involvement of oak on the nose, along with raspberry, red apples, fresh butter and after some time in the glass, freshly baked meringue!?
The palate is bold and vinous with “heavy” acidity. Looking forward to trying it again in 1 or 2 years.

Disgorged in 2017, and stored at the House for another 72 months. Unfortunately, this bottle was clearly cellartainted, which is somewhat disappointing given the provenance… the taint somewhat disappeared after some time and gave way to a bit of fruit, but was otherwise not a joy to drink…

Disgorgement probably 2016/17..?
Reductive and stringent style. Citrus, especially lime, bread and lichee fruit on the nose. Slightly creamy mouth with a taste that mimics the nose, supported by the “deep” and powerful acid of the 2008 vintage, which is starting to come around and actually becoming quite pleasant, and lingers on the tongue for quite a while. Balance is starting to form. Few bubbles. Looking forward to trying this again in a few years

Loved it. Of the Blancs de meuniers I've had, this was the best - especially at this price.
Golden colour with lively bubbles. The oak is definately identified on the nose bringing forth a zingy butterscotch character with subdued honey, but without hiding the classic fruity Meunier character and sharp freshness.
The low dosage and blocked malolactic fermentation for such a young wine initially had me worried - far too many young extra brut champagnes try too hard with low dosage in my opinion, and end up becoming unbalanced and unpleasant. Had I not known here, I wouldn't have guessed it this low, and while it is a bit tart, I think a bit of time in the bottle will round off the remaining edges, and this champagne might be even better.
Unfortunately I think that the 57 euro price mark that I got this bottle at will be history soon 😅

from magnum. This bottle has either evolved or is just very different due to the format, since last I tasted it. Quite a different experience now: reductive style, lots of white fruit, and not all too different from dom perignon 2012, except the gunpower thing Dom P has going on... Will try to get a hold of a few more magnums for cellaring.

Bought in 2019, so probably a 2018/19 disgorgement. Perfect value for money.

I really enjoy Charlier et fils special club. This Magnum was disgorged in 2019, and while is was really good, it is at this stage not quite as good as the 2005 edition, disgorged at somewhat the same time.
The overall theme here is oakey flavours, honey, abricot, vanilla, fried onions and yellow apples. I'm excited to try the 2008 normal bottle disgorged this year.

Taittinger vintage needs time (the nv is not worth your time). This bottle was perfectly mature now. Ripe yellow apples, pear, slightly yeasty, and marcipan on the nose. Taste is mature and has similar notes, and ends with a Long taste og dried figs..?

Enjoyed it!

Deg 21/02-18.
At a great stage now, and will last even longer. Acidity has mellowed out a bit and the taste is round and reminescing of tropical fruit and a hint of lime.
Delicious.

Still racing acidity, with a somewhat lacking taste compared to earlier disgorged versions I've tried. Will store and try again later.

Apple juice with classic biting non-malo acidity. Taste is not very long. I feel like the acidity (which is reallyd food), has outlasted the flavour..?

From Magnum. Full of fruit and with the impression that this might have received a bit of oak? Quite high acidity for a pinot noir dominered wine made this a perfect pair blinis and Beetle roe and classic tapas. Enjoyed it

Loved the taste, but the acidity is quite high, and not too well integrated yet. Age will probably improve it. (disgorged sep/2019)

Yellow apples, bread, butter and berries. My guess is this wine was oaked to some extent. Acidity is Strong but rounded, and the wine is easy dribling, with fruit aromas subdued at this time. Would buy again.

Disgorged oct 2019.
Great wine with autolytic character. From other reviews had expected it to be heavier/more intense, as this feels a bit thin. Maybe with some age and proper glasses it'll improve!

Disgorged feb 2018.
Was really excited for this bottle as the 2008 is one of my favorites!
In general a very mature wine: not too Many boubles, notes of honey, hazelnuts, butter and oak. Taste is same as nose. Bert intense and powerful wine, which retains sine acidic freshness after all these years.
Probably should have been enjoyed sooner after disgorgement...

Felt like this bottle was past its prime and had quite and odd finish which wasn't very pleasureable.

One of my favourite NVs. Fresh, fulæ-bodied and boasting a crisp acidity with a distinct note of sap?! Disgorged in 2018. From experience even more bottle aging will give the wine an extra layer og oaky flavor found in the fut de chene MV 07. I'll leave my other 2018-disgorged bottle a few more years.

Very bready/yeasty with green sour apples and lime on the nose. Taste is similar, and rather sweet when taking the low dosage into account. Overall very simple. Not a memorable wine at all in my opinion, atleast not at this point (don't know if it'll get better). Reminds me of decent cremant. Hopefully the next bottle is more exciting.

Deep golden color. Very oxidative nose, browned butter, baked apples and nuts. Taste is similar to these notes, apple and nuts being the dominant flavor. This wine still retains some freshness. I prefer the 2005.

Very fruity with hard tannins. Opened up after 5-6 hours, and smoothened. This wine doesn't match the price, but might come around with extended cellaring.

Older NV bottle. While this has plenty og boubles, I can't quite figure out if it is corked. If not, it seems that the wood is very unbalanced to the wine. It might also just not be a wine with potential for aging.
Was better day 2

90 points at this time. Tasted Up against krug 166eme, argonne 08, egly-ouriet 07. Bollinger LGA 08 definately didn't live up to krug and especially not argonne (which was kind of expected).
It developed a quite interesting note og vanilla after a few hours, but otherwise led the thoughts to a normal Apple juice with boubles... Lga 05 and 07 are much more mature and exciting at this point, and I hope lga 08 follows down the same path, and develops a more interesting taste.

Very fresh and (to my taste) overly acidic, with few secondary notes. I'd sat that this champagne is way too young at this time (Young NV), and it would be interesting to revisit it in 5-10 years! Then again, my taste is for a bit heavier and more aromatic champagne, and others might enjoy this more than I did at this time.
