With Michael Lehmann and Brett Raven at Singer & Foy survey of new California wines. Yellow gold. Pretty light color. Excellent; complex, toasty, barnyard nose like Chassagne-Montrachet. Not too intense though. In the mouth, buttery; unfolds on the palate. Seems lighter than other vintages. Not what I expected. 5-11-15-7: 88/100

4th Annual VinoCellar.com Celebration Weekend - Tastings and Dinners (Sonoma area, California): Tasted at the Freeman winery dinner as part of the VinoCellar 4th Annual Celebration. Out of mag? This seemed over but eventually some nice smoky peach flavors emerged. Hard to rate but I would go with about 87.
