Chapelle-Chambertin Dinner with the Lieu-dit Cru (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Open 2+ hours before serving, with a quick double decant. Tasted single blind in 2002 Chapelle flight. Fruit-driven throughout with good balance and overall nicely pleasant, even if not classically "Gevrey" to me right now.

Burg Dinner, Mostly Meursault Charmes and Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru (Sepia - Chicago IL): Black and red cherry aromas with real intensity and seemingly stern aromas. Red and black cherry flavors, very firmly structured and a great finsih with lots of power and energy. Fascinating contrast to the more ripe, lush Ponsot 2002 Chapelle-Chambertin in the next glass.

Light brown-red with sediment. Sweet red fruits on the nose. Pleasant, a bit flat, tasty on the finish.
