Bourgogne visit 29/10-1/11-2023: Visit at Trapet Pere & Fils. Tasted 7 cuvees from Trapet: 5 btls. from Gevrey-Chambertin and 2 others. The clear winner was Le Chambertin 2006, which was nothing but outstanding. Wow, I rated it 97. Long after followed Chapelle Chambertin 2017 and Latricieres Chambertin 2011 which I rated 91. This wine: Savoury style, red currant notes. Medium acidity, tannins, alcohol and body.
