  Double decanted ~ 2 hours.
  Mellow older sweet dark cherry fruit, some gunflint/reduction and nice Pinot funk. Others at the table said "oak, spice, cloves". Med tannins and low-med acid. 13.5% Alc.
  
  I loved this, initially calling it an 02' Jadot Amoureuses in a flight of 10 red Burgs, that we single-blinded (ie: we knew what the 10 were, but not what was in the glass.)
  My WOTN in a group that included Corton, Mazis, a Dujac Morey, several serious Vougeots and the 02' Amoureuses which unfortunately, was flawed.

  Wow bottle from a vintage that is uneven. Great fruit, great balance, really lovely. Does not have secondary characteristics to elevate it, but it it is young. Wish I had more.

  Explosive blue fruit and spicy core with just a hint of orange spice that lingers around the powerful and driven palate. Ever so light shade of greeness reminds you that the vintage keeps its youth. Stunning, as expected. 94
