Golden honey color. Cloying sweetness with moderate to heavy glycerin mouthfeel - so much moreso than my last bottle which was less liquid dessert in a glass. Candied apricots glazed and dipped in honey with a few vanilla notes. So over-the-top it is not meant for everyone, and I can't give it the 97-95 scores WA, WS and ST gave it, but for what it is, it's very well done. Definitely a bottle to be shared with at least 8 people as more than a 3 oz pour is quite a bit to take upon the palate.

5 Guys and a Gal! (Casa Joe & Khem): PnP - A great ending to a great tasting! Climens is well balanced, always. The consistency of Climens is only bested by Yquem. Although Climens is 100% Semillon (rather than a blend with Sauvignon Blanc), it still has enough acidity to balance the sugar in a very sweet vintage (2003). Classic!
Nose showed orange blossom, honeysuckle and some stone fruit, petrol and honeycomb. Palate showed orange marmalade, apricot, peach, honeycomb and burnt sugar with some vanilla notes. Delicious! One of the best bottles to date and a solid 94 for tonight!

Semi-guys night (My house): This sauternes is very well balanced for a 2003, only slightly heavy on the sweetness. Great balance, sufficient acid.

Guy's Night: Aged Bordeaux/Bordeaux Blends (Joe & Khem's Place, Mpls): Medim dark gold color. Drank a glass from 375ml over 30 minutes. Bright nose, orange, pineapple, apple pie, spice, nice acid, baked apple tart, wildflower honey.
