Are going downhill very fast. No need to keep any longer. Dark cherry fruit. Thin body. Unbalanced with fast fading tannins and a high acidity. Medium long finish.

1993-2003 Brunello Tasting. More red and amber on the rim. Most of the fruit is gone from the nose, leaving musty, earthy aromas. The palate is completely different and still quite clean and fruity. It's probably past its prime but still drinking well.

Had it in 2006. A little orange on the rim. Very smooth, dry fruit, earthy and woody. A little lean on the finish, yet very complex. Seems to have a little aging potential left @ 10 years.

Bought recently on sale for about $30. Seemed like a good deal for a 10 year old brunello, but hey, you never know. After about an hour's air, it opened into a plum and sour cherry scented wine with medium body, and good fruit flavors backed by coffee and cedar notes. Decent quality and serviceable, but certainly not profound.
