Plum, blackberry, graphite, forest floor, cigar humidor, pepper, bakers chocolate, coffee beans.

Composed of 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Masculine blackberry bramble with a firm, velvety grip. Licorice, black tea, stones, and dried leaves with a long, lingering blackberry finish. Plush, alluring, and thoroughly enjoyable. It will no doubt age with incredible grace—one for the cellar.

Tried at a tasting here in KL.
Andrew Brattland's review fits my experience. Quite acidic and delicate. Pure and the quality has stepped up. A bit young, will mellow out in 2-3 years.
Since 2020 is apparently a step up, I will go with buying only that for now.

Informal note.
Drank at Noble Rot LCS over lunch. I was with someone who enjoys a lot of richer reds. I'm more of a Burgundy man than a Claret man, but this was really delicious.
Far more red fruit-driven than black, with some subtle hints of oak but nothing overpowering. Despite being 15%, this was surprisingly fresh and vibrant. Would love to see how this develops over time.

Two bottles @ Deep Cove Chalet. Briefly decanted but busting and bursting out of the glass with intense layered aromatics and broad shouldered structure. Mouth-filling but not sappy fruit. Every element is just at the brink of being too much but what seamless alchemy. Thought this may have been too young but the entire table and the waiter were all thrilled with the wine. Great match for such diverse continental cuisine in front of us - coq au vin, veal sweetbreads, roast chicken and noisette of lamb en croute. Will definitely be seeking this out online.
