Green and astringent, lacking in fruit, uninteresting in every way. Not improving. I’ll leave 1/2 the bottle overnight in the fridge, but have little hope it will help. Consistent with 10 previous tastings.
Next day, there was little change. Maybe a little more fruit, but the dry, tannic and bitter finish offered no charm.

Al's note inspired me to pop one of these. Juicy fruit with good balancing acidity. Satisfying as a good village wine should be. I will assert that this can age further on it's acidity but that's only if you like secondary or tertiary notes.

Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Andros Taverna): Served blind in 2011 Dujac flight. Bright red cherry with lots of fun, even if not lots of substance. A wonderful village wine for the vintage, everybody thought this was the village wine, but thought it from a bigger, riper, richer vintage (guesses included 2007, 2010, 2012!).

Slightly spice and red berry nose. Woody tannins come through quickly on the plate, which with the acidity makes for a harsh plate but there is a soft, long, lingering finish. I have very limited burg experience but maybe, this hints and it’s future? While the tannins should integrate the acidity won’t though so maybe on a partial hint?

Decent village wine from a not great year. Some nice stemmy/green, whole cluster notes on the nose. As others have said this wine is still shedding some youth and appears it would benefit from further aging. Good red berries, moderate spice, moderate richness, good balance. Great texture. Producer over vintage always and this is a great effort by Dujac. Good now or hold.

Powerful nose. By far exceeds its village appellation level. Pronounced aromas of ripe black cherry, spices and sorts of forest berries. It needs time in the glass for palate to open up on par with the nose. At first it's rather weak and shy compared to the nose. But after 2 hours it comes at perfect balance. Worth decanting it.

Bought three of these on an impulse from an auction, then regretted it once I'd read the reviews on here (even though I got a decent price). I needn't have done - the wine is good. Surprisingly warm and giving nose, with fruit and spice. Palate is soft and pleasingly poised between earth, game and fruit.
That said, as I type this with the final glass (about 1h45 from opening), perhaps some of the initial generosity is fading, as the finish is now getting a bit short, peppery and thin...

Merger of TTTG &FTTG - Blind (DB): Medium tawny, with a very dark-fruited, smoky, animal nose, but also surprisingly a bit of savory ("old wine") sourness. On the palate, red and black fruit, herbal, green, animal, but well delineated and clean. Fairly light body; medium grippy tannin. Good length. My #3 of the night, slightly ahead of the group's consensus.

This was a tale of two wines. At first it was all about meaty, smoky and deep berry aromas and flavors. A little later it picked up a disjointed, piney note, though that green element never became dominant (even an hour after the tasting was over - 5 hours after the bottle was opened). I liked the wine for the most part, but would not necessarily consider buying more given the price range. There is better stuff out there for less money.

From Memory: Very dark toned; blackberries, black cherry with some floral notes and even a hint of citrus peel underneath. There is a brooding meaty presence in the middle that gives way to a noticeable leafy greenness on the backside. Shows good grip and a fair amount of unresolved tannins on the outset. This really shut down after a few hours of air and showed some tinny astringency on the finish.

Decanted 1 hour. The pale appearance is misleading. Initially gives a pine, slightly herbal, black fruited nose. The palate on first tasting is intense with a sustained high note and a finish which grips slightly. It seems like it's been opened too early. After some time (but probably more accurately with food), the wine is transformed. The harshness of the acids are melted away, and the seamless, clean nature of the palate shines. Lovely.

Red rose tea, cranberry and autumn leaves on the nose, arguably under ripe but still very pleasant, reminiscent of that five year old potpourri bouquet in your bathroom and the wet fur of your dog after a wash. Palate consistent with the nose complemented by dusty tannins. Smokey pomegranate flavors linger then fade to diminishing tart cherry until only shadows remain.

Open an hour before serving, then consumed over ~3 hours. Nicely floral start. Red and black berry aromas with black pepper and dried herb aromas.

very young, initially the nose is very closed but after giving the wine a shake (we didn't have a decanter around) it really openen up very nice: red fruits, soil tones, in the mouth the wine is light (typical 2011?) but has a balanced aftertaste (no green meanies!). Textbook Dujac Morey but it does really need the additional air. Will be nice in 5Y+

Light colour. Engaging, complex nose. But the palate is a disaster. I really can't stand the 2011 red burgs. My girlfriend hit this one on the head: "tastes like paint". I was served this by a representative of the domaine, so it can't be an off bottle... I blame the year. Almost undrinkable.

More structured than the Fils et Père version reviewed below. Deep nose of cool and pure dark berry fruit with earth notes and a hints of spices. On the palate rich and generous, with quite supple mature tannins, very fine acidity and posing nice complexity, ending great balanced and quite firm. This is a wonderful MSD village that should age well too …

Tasted 7/4/13. Dense and meaty, more so than I typically expect from MSD. Very well textured with great mouth feel, which is in turn classically Dujac MSD. Big scaled fruit, more so than many 2011s at this point, giving it a slightly off-center character.
France 2013 - Côte d'Or; 4/24/2013-4/26/2013 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From half bottle. Hint of stems/green on the nose with dark red fruits underneath. A step down in intensity compared to the 2010. The tannins are chalky and almost bitter. Excellent acidity. Palate shows some green/bitterness as well. Not sure about this one.

Open knit. It has a cool rocky personality with big floral lift and a spice laden palate with crunchy cherry fruit.

Nose: lots of forest notes, red fruit, plush, flowers.
Delicate fruit on the palate, round with good freshness and minerality. Great presence, round tannins, slightly chewy towards the finish.

Dark cherry and sweet spice on the nose with some leafy/herbal (whole bunch) background notes. Quite tight and chewy with the fruit largely under wraps but should be great from 2016+

very young, initially the nose is very closed but after giving the wine a shake (we didn't have a decanter around) it really openen up very nice: red fruits, soil tones, in the mouth the wine is light (typical 2011?) but has a balanced aftertaste (no green meanies!).
