@Pratorius.

Aromas of strawberry, mineral, watermelon and cherry. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, pomegranate and bread dough. Ends with a 15-20 second finish with cherry and strawberry notes. Captures the sparkling rosé experience.

Unclear why this is classified as red--it's rose. Anyway, it's super crisp and smells... like a rose. It's fragrant and has strawberry and shouldn't be missed.

Very brioche-y nose with raspberries and some cranberry on the nose. Tart, tasty palate of crisp red apple, with lemon curd and pronounced acidity. Medium finish of red berries and salted caramel. Nice, good value rosé, perfect in style and price as a party champagne.

Further to my Note of June 12 '20: Attractive rich pink, red fruit-dominant nose and palate, seems one-dimensional so may try with less chill next time. Still notable+.

Bought 7b for 20/b from a local gourmet grocery chain one month ago; this is #1. Chilled for 4h in the frig. Pulled the cork, good pop, no foaming. Medium pink; subdued fruity nose that evolved within the hour to some white stone fruit, some strawberry. Almost delicious, glad I have more. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

Lacks any of the annoying characters that can plague sparkling wine (eg disjointed acid, sugar). This is very nicely balanced, dry, fine, very easy to drink. Just a bit mild, lacking in character. Fingers crossed that it builds flavour with a bit of age.

By the glass at the BA lounge, London . Half bottle but no clue how long this was opened. Quite a straight forward, salmon pink, soft , low on the ripeness and with no toasty rich feel. Not confectionary thankfully , good generic NV rose in our view 87-88
Interesting fact is about half of the 30-35% Pinot used ( rest is 35-40% Chardonnay & 25-30% Pinot Meunier) is Vinicius as a red wine and added to the champagne . The things one learns when one has time to spare in a lounge..

Deep orange colour. Lovely creamy, fruity nose, but also a little iron. Broad, fairly sweet but high acid too, a touch of bitterness. Something unusual in there as well, perhaps tomato. A bit disjointed, but you take your chances buying from a supermarket (and it was in their fridge, for goodness knows how long). Drinkable to start with, but increasingly unpleasant with time and air. From label: 35-40% chardonnay, 30-35% pinot noir 'of which 15-18% vinified as red, added), 25-30% meunier. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's, on offer at £24].

Quite pale. Fairly low acid, with soft berry fruit. A pleasant anytime style, albeit not quite as good as previous bottles I've had. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's, on offer at £20, usually £35].

Less stuff happening on the nose compared to the standard Brut Mosaique. Yeast, flowers and vanilla. A bit heavier. Medium+ acidity with some tartness to it.
Good and tasty champagne, but for me this is indistinguishable from most other rosé champagnes I've tried. Need to practice more! :)

Medium deep reddish orange color. Quite tightly-knit, savory nose with aromas of unripe wild strawberries, coarse spiciness, some juicy red fruits and modest, slightly toasty caramel character. On the palate the wine feels dry but surprisingly ripe and soft compared to the sharp nose, with flavors of juicy red berries, sweet cookie dough autolysis, some spicy Pinosity, a little ripe citrus fruits and a hint of caramel-coated nuts. The mousse feels very small and fine, even lacking some power. Moderate acidity. The finish is drier and more acid driven with long, dry flavors of steely minerality, grapefruit, some toasty autolysis and hints of white currants.
A fairly decent rosé Champ, but truth be told, nothing worth writing home about. Pretty mundane with quite good balance, but fairly little of anything that would make it memorable in any way. Meh.

Lovely, lush. Salmon color, fragrant nose redolent of apples and sweetness. Off dry on the palate with a really lush mouthfeel. Yeasty fermentation gives it a great creaminess. Short finish but still great. It's got a good acidity, but not harsh. Great with bolder food and a very pleasant sipper. (I ate a calzone with zesty sauce and finished a glass after the food.)

House warming J&J (J&J new apartment): Kept for 2 years. Non-blind. Had immediately. Copper color. Rounded, bready aromas with hints of grapefruit. Good structure and fine acids. Less of a rosé Champagne, more of a hefty BdN in style. Perfect starter for the evening.

Onion peel to salmon red. Peach, strawberry, ripe lemon, watermelon, brioche and a touch of toffee. Dry, crispy and mid-sized palate with sour and bitter qualities. Zesty - even aggressive - citrus seems to dominate with some toffee and toast character. Long chalky finish with rubbery nuttiness. Lacking in definition - though delivering some good Champagne substance.

Rose red with orange highlights. Earthy nose with red berries, peach, grapefruit peel, caramel and also something cold and metallic. Dry and quite lightbodied palate with smooth creamy moussé, a load of quinine-like bitterness, crispy citrus, pink grapefruit and some nutty notes. Good length. A bit hard to relate to. The bitterness needs something to chew on.
