Raspberry pink, mm-size bubbles. Cerise-kirsch aromas. Dry-off dry, medium acidity, low alcohol @8% abv, medium(-) body. Flvors of strawberry, raspberry, finish tending to sweet fruit flavors. This bottle was from before 2004, so it was at least 15 years old. Still with some effervescence, it is showing its age with some forest floor elements, but it still has enough fruit, off-dry sweetness, and acidity to be enjoyable.

Saturday wines: Sipping this is like biting into a perfectly ripe, chilled magical berry, as there is an initial hit of juicy sweetness, them the pure fruitiness fills your mouth and you feel the acidity and effervescence cleaning away the sweetness, making your mouth water for the next sip after a brief pause to giggle at the crystalline garnet color topped with a head of silly pinkish bubbles.
A bottle of liquid joy that proves that a wine doesn't have to be "serious" to be great. Sitting on a porch with friends on a cool afternoon as summer turns to fall, I can't think of any wine I would rather drink.

Popped and poured. Pale strawberry color. Fresh aroma of watermelon. Pure, rich, sweet flavors of citrus, minerals and candy apple. Some bitterness in the apple finish.
A little lighter, both in color and flavor, than previous versions (this was purchased Fall 2013) but still insanely delicious. Deep and complex, but with flavors that a child would love. It's like a top level spatlese with sparkle.

Nice! Perfect low-alcohol (7.5%) slightly sweet apertif. Second occasion I've had this; has been enjoyed by very mixed crowds each time, from geeky winos to casual drinkers to those who normally don't stray beyond white zin. I guess it's sweet enough for the latter, and sufficiently detailed/interesting (and balanced with fairly zesty acidity) for the former.

Interesting sparkler from a small region unknown to me. Grabbed from Bergamot in Healdsburg Pretty, medium pink, light cranberry color Nose of Rhubarb, spice. pomegranate, ripe strawberry Slightly sweet (demi dec). Its important to not drink over chilled as the subtle fruit notes are lost and the sweetness is accentuated. bright red fruits, pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry, blood orange. Earthiness thats wonderful mid palate & finish. Nice texture mid palate, and medium finish.
An excellent value, interesting sparkler, perfect for date night, at 7% alc.

Lite ruby and salmon with lite viscosity in the glass. Blood orange, strawberry pie, Washington apple, stone fruit and flowers on the nose. Lite body, clean and bright with soft strawberry, citrus, yeast, pomegranate, honey and herbs on the palate. Secondary stone fruit, green apple and creme brulee. Med-short finish. Beautiful. The best sparkling, off-dry rose to date for me.

Fragrant aromas of anise and strawberries. Beautiful, sweet palate of strawberries and apples. Yeast and honey in the lingering finish. This is absolutely delightful. It somehow manages to combine all of the best elements of champagne, lambrusco, and cider into one delectable confection. Great balance, with firm acids supporting the sweetness. As pointed out elsewhere, a great choice with stir fry. A very serious frivolous wine.

Intriguing (in fact downright weird) wine from a little known region called Bugey near the Swiss border. It is a slightly sweet, low alcohol (7.5%), sparkling wine made from Gamay (90%) and Poulsard (10%). If I haven’t ‘weirded you out’ and your still with me, let me tell you how delicious this thing is. The aroma is comprised of juniper berries smashed in a granite mortar and pestle, yeasty brioche notes, some aldehydic nuttiness and a smattering of summer berries. It is sweet, frothy and crammed with aforementioned berries and there’s a grapyness somewhat akin to Moscato or Brachetto. It dries off beautifully with a splash of tonic water like crispness. Not really sure when to recommend drinking this but it would be perfect for jumping back on the horse after a big night, work brilliantly after a meal as a digestive or indeed as an aperitif.

My score is probably low, and is really more a reflection of the style of wine than the quality. this is a very enjoyable bottle of wine, fun and light. Quite good for a summer evening or night. It is semi-sweet, nothing like desert wines i have had. the sparkling nature gave it a very nice touch and festive feel. I would buy this again for the right gathering.

Intense dark raspberry color; explosive ripe juicy strawberry, raspberry and bing cherry fruit on the nose. The attack begins with a joyful creamy mousse that melts into a mouthcoating cool berry sweetness with perky acidity and a slight earthiness that lingers into the finish; This is a grown-up version of a raspberry cream soda and is very easy to like, especially when it's hot outside.

Gorgeous blood orange red, terrific strawberry nose, not quite as frothy as last year's. It doesn't taste as sweet either. Crunchy green Granny smith apples, strawberries and a touch of raspberries on the palate. The well integrated acidity and generous finish complete the package. This case will probably not last the summer.

Offline in Dobbs Ferry (Dale's House): Bright pink bubbler, with a nose of exploding strawberries that just leaps out of the glass. Palate is noticeably sweet, but has just enough life from fizz and a little acid not to cloy. It’s fun like berry soda, but somehow maintains interest. I only had one glass of this because there was a lot more wine to come, but with the right weather and simple outdoor food, I could drink two or three. That’s what rosés are for, isn’t it? If I had a garden and some lawn chairs, I’d buy it for sure.

Crisp, fruity and enjoyable. Raspberry and minerals on the palate. Fruit filled finish. Great summer apertif.

Strawberry nose, cranapple and raspberry flavors, more minerals than usual in this years version. Off dry but with good balancing acidity. Nice hot weather sparkler.
