Yellow brownish and over the hill and oxidized but undeniably Chenin with honeyed waxy fruit shining through the nutty oxidation. While heading downhill, this was still drinkable if you like the oxidized style and could have passed for a natural wine of that type in a blind tasting. Not what it should have been but still a bit interesting.

Golden yellow. Typical Chenin Blanc aromas with honey, citrus and chalky minerals. Rather tart and skinny for a Papillon. I have had a few 1999's that were better.

Dark yellow, some minerality and acid, but lacks the notes of honey that I remembered. Perhaps over the hill.

On the nose lime, oak very oxidized. Very light but to much.
Not my cup of tea.
