A musty note blows off after about an hour to reveal brambly, spicy fruit. Weightless and pure concentration of dark fruits with medium acidity. Reminiscent of Volnay in its structure but with a more generous mouthfeel. Compared to my last bottle, this seems to be shutting down.
13.5%. Bought a bunch of these based on Rajat Parr's recommendation. Ruby red with a hint of purple. Nose of raspberries and dried flowers. Acidity makes it lively in the mouth, but not over the top. This is as close to burgundy as i've gotten with beaujo. Everything in harmony.
